Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Ojunai account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We recommend reading these terms carefully before signing up.

2. Service Description

Ojunai is a WhatsApp-first AI business management platform built for African small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The service allows you to record sales, track inventory, manage expenses, handle debts and credit, and receive business reports — all by chatting with an AI assistant on WhatsApp. A web dashboard at app.ojunai.com is included for visual reports, data management, and account settings.

3. Account Registration

To use Ojunai, you must create an account either through the web dashboard or by messaging the WhatsApp bot. Each business may have one account. The person who creates the account is the Owner and is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate business information
  • Keeping login credentials secure
  • All activity under their account, including actions taken by staff members they add

You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Ojunai offers four subscription tiers: Starter, Shop, Pro, and Business. Each plan comes with different feature limits (products, messages, staff accounts, etc.) as described on our pricing page.

Billing cycles: Plans are available on monthly or annual billing cycles. Annual plans offer a discount compared to monthly pricing.

Supported currencies: We accept payment in Nigerian Naira (NGN), Ghanaian Cedi (GHS), US Dollar (USD), British Pound (GBP), Kenyan Shilling (KES), and South African Rand (ZAR). You select your preferred currency during signup.

Payment providers: Payments are processed by Paystack (primarily for Nigeria) and Flutterwave (for other African markets and international payments). Ojunai does not directly store your payment card details.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions paid by card renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Subscriptions paid via mobile money or bank transfer require manual renewal.

Grace period: If your subscription expires, you have a 3-day grace period before your account is downgraded. During this period, you retain full access to your current plan features.

5. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard or by contacting us. When you cancel:

  • You keep access to your current plan until the end of your billing period
  • After that, your account downgrades to the Starter plan (or is deactivated, depending on the plan)
  • Your data remains accessible — you can export it before downgrading

6. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period. If you believe a charge was made in error or you have a billing dispute, please contact us at contact@ojunai.com — we will work with our payment provider to resolve the issue.

7. Free Trial

Eligible new accounts receive a 30-day free trial on the Starter plan. During the trial, you have full access to Starter plan features at no charge. At the end of the trial period (plus a 3-day grace period), your account will require an active subscription to continue using the service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Ojunai for legitimate business purposes only. You may not:

  • Use the service for any illegal activity
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Misuse the WhatsApp integration (spam, automated bulk messaging, or any activity that violates WhatsApp's terms)
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service
  • Share your account credentials with anyone outside your business

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Data & Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using Ojunai, you also agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

10. Service Modifications

Ojunai is actively developed. We may update features, adjust pricing for new subscribers, or modify these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes:

  • We will notify you via WhatsApp or email at least 14 days in advance
  • Pricing changes will not affect your current billing period
  • If you disagree with updated terms, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect

11. Limitation of Liability

Ojunai is provided "as is." While we work hard to keep the service reliable and accurate, we cannot guarantee that:

  • The service will be available 100% of the time (maintenance, outages, and third-party issues may occur)
  • AI-generated transaction parsing will always be perfectly accurate (always verify important records)
  • Data will never be lost (we maintain backups, but you should export critical data regularly)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ojunai and its team shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Nigeria. If you are accessing the service from outside Nigeria, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
