FlashAppt FAQ

Clear answers before you book or publish.

What favourites, watches, private calendar scans, and repeat booking actually do.

Do appointment watches reserve an opening?

No. Watches and alerts improve discovery, but they do not reserve or guarantee an appointment. An opening remains available to other customers until a booking is completed.

What can I include in an appointment watch?

You can set preferences for service, category, price, day, and time.

What happens when I save a favourite business?

Saving a favourite helps you follow businesses you want to hear from and receive priority opening alerts from them. Priority does not guarantee availability.

Can a customer book the same merchant again?

Yes. After a completed, checked-in FlashAppt visit, the customer can book again directly with that merchant.

Does FlashAppt automatically synchronize a merchant calendar?

No. The feature is a private .ics calendar scan, not automatic calendar synchronization. Google and Outlook accounts do not connect automatically yet.

What calendar data is uploaded?

Calendar titles, attendees, notes, locations, and raw identifiers are not uploaded. The scan identifies potential availability for the merchant to review.

Can a calendar event become an opening automatically?

No. Events are never published automatically. The merchant must review the service, price, staff member, and time before publishing.

What can merchants republish?

Merchants can start from a previous completed, cancelled, or expired opening and publish it again after reviewing the details.

What appears in recovery analytics?

The 30-day view includes fill rate, recovered revenue, new customers, repeat customers, favourites, and appointment-watch demand.
